Deep Forest & The Bear's Head Pass

A 215 km journey through Slovenia's wildest wilderness, starting in Kočevje. The route features the 'Strma Reber' pass (The Bear's Head), famous for its 19 perfect 180-degree hairpins, and passes through the ancient forests of Snežnik.

Riding is characterized by dense forest shade, very low traffic, and the unique serpentine descent into the Osilnica valley. The route follows the border Kolpa river before returning through the karst fields of Cerknica.
