The Julian Alps & Soča Valley Explorer

This 220 km loop traverses the heart of the Julian Alps, starting in Kranjska Gora and crossing the legendary Vršič Pass. The route descends into the emerald Soča Valley via the RT-206 before returning through the remote Bača Ravine and Soriška Planina.

Expect high-alpine technicality with 50 hairpins on Vršič, followed by fast, flowing river-side curves and a steep climb to the Sorica saddle. Scenery includes limestone peaks, turquoise rivers, and dense alpine forests.
